So far on my Christmas Break

Okay so the plan was to just write one big blog then I realized that I took too many pictures :) so here's what's been going on for the first week of my Christmas break!

The first day (full day home) I went to go visit a family friend with my mother and she showed me some cooler crochet patterns which is awesome because a lot of people I know don't know how to crochet and I would like to take my talent to higher levels you know? See I'm still currently making a blanket for chad and it's coming a long nicely but I have never appreciated something more than those hand knit/ crocheted blankets because they take so much time and energy out of you. Don't get me wrong, after this blanket is done I'm making me a much cooler one lol. But seriously next time you see one stop and take a second to look at every stitch. It's amazing what knots can create.
Anyway that same day I made homemade sugar cookies with mon and decorated them after 3 hours of preparation time and dad got crazy and decorated them all pretty and made a giant w cookie for himself! After that we ate out pizza and I swear after eating ramen and hotdogs all week that was the BEST pizza I will ever eat!
The second day I worked at good ole Bass Pro Shops to be an elf for the third year in a row and see my good friend Santa who is the sweetest man I will ever meet. I know his wife and all about his kids! He's a sweet man with. A great heart and as long as he keeps coming back I'll always keep traveling to see him!
The third day I made some presents cleaned my room and my family and I had a bonfire outside talked and toasted some hotdogs, it was one of my favorite days of the whole year! And my hotdog was really good, even though in the picture it looks burnt.
Next day was Christmas eve where we went to church and went to the finnegans and I got to see baby Raya! Plus I got to spend some more time with one of my best friends Erin Lancaster! (shout out) !!
CHRISTMAS DAY this Christmas was definitely the most humbling Christmas. I didn't ask for much I actually didn't ask for anything at all but Toms from Erin and she got them for me and I LOVE them. I missed my family and I didn't want anything, I got to see everybody and that's what I wanted plus I think my mom and dad had a great Christmas under the circumstances.
The day after Christmas we left for Alabama at 6 am and saw Mamarose at the hospital and Aletha and mike. And we get to spend some time with the little boys, josh and Jacob. But for now we are just waiting and keeping both Mamarose and Cecelia in our prayers to feel better soon! Anyway I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and remember that what everyone really needs for Christmas is patience, kindness, love, health and whatever else you NEED. It's not about iPods and iPhones. It's about the love we share and hopefully show each other everyday.

Love Sara
